If there was any doubt about the source of wisdom after reading Chapter 1, Chapter 2 puts that doubt to rest:
For the Lord gives wisdom,
and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
Thankfully, God doesn't keep His wisdom to Himself. He has made it available for us all in His Word -
especially here in His "Book of Everyday Wisdom," the Proverbs.

This chapter to me is a roadmap on how to follow "the narrow path."
ReplyDeleteAmong other things it promises that if we "seek wisdom and fear the Lord that wisdom will come into our hearts."
Wisdom promises to deliver us from all sorts of evil snares and keep us on the path of righteousness.
